How to create field access rights
Field Access Rights define permissions for all fields within a table. These rights can be assigned to profiles or workflow steps, allowing you to control which users can edit or view specific fields. Here's how to configure them:
- In the form or grid screen, click the "Edit View" button.
- Select "Field Rights" from the menu.
- Click the "Add" button and provide a name, such as "Full Access."
- Save your settings, and you'll see a list of fields where you can set their visibility and edit permissions.
- You can create various field rights, such as "Manager Access" and "User Access," and define their permissions accordingly.
